The BoCG team provided key strategic advisory to scale a forty-three year old organization into a modern philanthropic venture driven by blockchain, AI, and mobile first technologies.
Operation USA is a non profit humanitarian organization supporting health, education and relief programs at home and abroad in order to help children and families recover and thrive in the wake of disasters. Working with grassroots community organizations, OpUSA strives to help the most overlooked and under-served communities. It is exclusively privately funded, receiving no assistance from the United States federal government. OPUSA had a revenue of over $2.6 million in fiscal year 2019, and since 1979 has delivered more than $400 million in aid to 100 countries.
THE GOALS
After going on forty years through manual processes, the NGO was becoming obsolete in its practices and in its brand positioning. The Client’s goal is to see what is possible in terms of technology innovation, IP development, and brand positioning that scales.
THE SOLUTION
After a holistic review of operations, leadership, and management - we feel that there’s great potential for opUSA to become a pioneer in digital venture philanthropy. Through our Discovery, we were able to see that the majority of the processes within opUSA can be augmented by technology-enabled operations.
